Soche Technical College students have held a peaceful protest in Blantyre on Monday against delays in release of examination results among others.
Speaking to YFM, vice president for Soche Technical College Students Union Victor Chikwi said the students are not happy that the institution is asking them to pay for another examinations yet results for examinations written in December last year are not out.
“We had a peaceful match to TEVATA offices to give them our petition where among other grievances were the delay in release of our examinations we wrote last year in December; poor training conditions and delay in giving tool boxes to apprentices,” he explained.
However, Chikwi said upon delivery of their petition, the Technical, Entrepreneurial and Vocational Education and Training Authority of Malawi (TEVETA) has assured them to look on the matter.
