Malawi Congress Party (MCP) key witness Daud Suleman has maintained his claim that the election results management system was marred with a number of irregularities during the May 21 polls.
Responding to questions by MCP lead lawyer Mordecai Msiska who re-examined Suleman on Thursday morning, Suleman maintained that the Results Management System was tampered with by ghost users.
Suleman repeated that MEC chairperson Justice Jane Ansah proceeded to announce winner in the presidential race without approving 4846 results.
The MCP last witness argued that this was the apparent indication of database manipulation.
Suleman narrated to the court on how data was transferred from the constituencies to the National Tally Center at COMESA Hall in Blantyre.
According to Suleman, some centers like in Blantyre and Lunchenza in Thyolo District had kits that were used in two geographical places.
He added that in normal circumstances, the database should have been consistent in a relation database.
