Light Her Path, a foundation which champions for girl’s empowerment has said it is geared to fight against harmful cultural practices that affect girls in the country.

Speaking to YFM online, Light Her Path co- founder, Priscilla Zuze said: “The organization has organized a campaign in all regions in the country from December 2 in the southern region.”

Zuze said they have brought this initiative so as to keep the young girls in rural areas aware of the bad cultural practices which are happening in rural areas across the country

“As a country there is a lot that has to be done in order to make sure that girls are not taking part in harmful cultural practices in rural areas,” she said.
