Sound Addicts Live, a local music outfit has promised fireworks at the forthcoming Ku Mingoli Bash slated for July 22 this year at Lilongwe Golf club.
Founder of the consortium, Shadreck Kalukusha, made the pronouncement in Lilongwe on Wednesday at the official launch of event tickets meant for the show.
He said the show, which will be the first under their label, will give Malawian music fanatics a top-notch entertainment experience.
“We are expecting to have over ten Malawian artists and four international artist performing at the show from 10am to 6am the next day. This is going to be the biggest musical event of the year,” said Kalukusha.
Ku Mingoli has since disclosed that it is eyeing a patronage of over 20, 000 people, with the first 2500 people to buy tickets to be offered at a subsidized price of K1000 as other partners including Kentam.
Products limited will settle the deficit.
At the briefing, the organisers also unveiled Felistus Nyauyu Ngwira well known in the comedy circles as its brand ambassador.
Ngwira echoed Kalukusha’s sentiments, saying all is set to give Malawians a mesmerizing experience.
Musician Alaine from Jamaica, Yo Maps from Zambia and Blaq Diamond from South have already confirmed their availability at the event while Kell Kay is the first local musician unveiled for the show with one East African artist being the latest package to be unveiled.
Marketing Executive for Kentam Products, cosponsors of the event, Andrew Mwase, said the partnership is part of the organisation’s corporate social responsibility.
“We thought of partnering the event because a lot Malawians have embraced Bufen and they have been using so, considering that fact, we thought of coming in to thank Malawians for trusting Bufen” he said.
