Kanengo Police Station in Lilongwe is keeping in custody a 28 year old man Samuel Wyson for allegedly defiling two under aged girls in a row.

The Station’s Public Relations Officer, Sub Inspector Laban Makalani confirmed the incident saying the suspect is alleged to have defiled the girls aged 10 and 9  at his house on Monday.

Police records indicate that during the day of the incident, the suspect dragged the victims into his house where he defiled them before giving them money amounting to K200. 00 to stop them from revealing the matter.

However, the victims reported the issue to their parents who took the matter to Area 49 Police Unit.

The victims were referred to a health facility where medical examinations confirmed that they were defiled.

Samuel Wyson, who works as a bicycle taxi operator, hails from Pendanyama village in Traditional Ganya in Ntcheu district

He is expected to appear before court soon to answer two charges of defilement under section 138 of the penal code.
