The Malawi National Examinations Board (MANEB) has distanced itself from reports purportedly announcing the release of 2017 Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) and Primary School Leaving Certificate of Education (PSLCE) results.

MANEB Public Relations Officer Simeon Maganga called on Malawians to ignore fake stories circulating on the social media.

“Malawians should disregard the message circulating on social media about the release of the 2017 PSLCE and MSCE exam results. It’s fake,” Maganga said.

Maganga was however quick to assure Malawians that the official results will be out before the start of next school calendar.
