Police in NkhataBay have arrested thirteen children aged between eight and sixteen, for indulging in business at night.
NkhataBay Police Station Public Relations Officer Ignatius Esau, said the children were found selling bananas along the street at an odd hour.
Esau said they are currently meeting with the children’s parents on the way forward of the case.
The development follows increased cases of children who are engaged in night vending along the country’s cities.
