Impact Events have said all is set for festival which will start today in the lakeshore district of Salima.

The festival has brought in the country several notable faces in the music industry such as Diamond Platinum, Busy Signal just to mention a few.

Speaking to YFM Director of the Impact Events Lucius Banda, said the festival this year has brought a large number of international acts who will share stage with a large number of local artists in the three days of the festival

“This year the audience will be treated to a variety of music ranging from rhumba, house and reggae,” Banda explained.

Speaking after jetting into the country, Awillo Longomba who is headlining the festival, said he is ready to give his best to the Malawian audience.

“Am calling on all my fans to come in large numbers and celebrate with us it’s going to be nothing but fun” longomba said.

Apart from Awillo Longomba other artist who will also perform at the festival are General Kanene, Kmillian and Thula Sizwe.
