All roads lead to HHI cemetery in Blantyre for the tombstone unveiling memorial ceremony of late gospel sensation Grace Chinga which is scheduled for Saturday November 11, 2017 .
The memorial service has come two months after the successful resolution of a conflict among family members over the sale of the deceased’s music.
According to Davie Chinga, brother to the departed songbird, the family has spent K2.5 million to construct the tombstone.
He said the Chinga family resolved not to engage in a fundraising initiative for the construction of the tombstone to show the magnitude of love they have for their deceased beloved one.
Chinga further said the family did not bother Malawians financially because they already did enough during the funeral.
“The tombstone unveiling memorial service will be facilitated by the Full Gospel Church of God and Gospel musicians,” said Davie
The ‘Mzaulula’ composer was born on June 28, 1978 and died on March 16, 2017.
Chinga further went on to urge Malawians and fans to show some gratitude by attending the memorial service of the gospel songbird.
