National Registration Bureau (NRB) says it will soon continue registering Malawians into the national identity registration exercise.
This remark comes after the bureau is in the process of distributing the national identity cards registered during the mass registration process
Public Relations Officer for the bureau Norman Fulatira said Malawians who are not yet registered should have patience as the process is ongoing.
He also said there will be a team working in registration centers in all the districts at the District Commissioners Office and Post Offices.
“As a bureau we will have our team working at the District Commissioners Offices and Post offices where people who have not yet registered can come and register,” explained Fulatira.
Fulatira further added that the teams will be travelling to different areas in the district so that people who are living in faraway places can also register.
“We know that not all Malawians live close to either District Commissioners office or Post Offices hence the need for our team to travel to where people live,” said Fulatira.
The Bureau said the dates of when the exercise will continue will be announced soon.
