The opposition People’s Party (PP) has fired two of its senior members, Uladi Musa and Ralph Jooma saying the two were bringing in confusion in the party.
Uladi Musa told YFM online that the move follows his refusal to endorse Joyce Banda’s son, Roy Kachali to be the party’s president.
“Yes it’s true and I can confirm that I have indeed been fired from the party. My crime is simple, I have refused to endorse Roy Kachali, son to Joyce Banda and the party’s president,” Musa said.
He said he saw this coming and he is not surprised with the decision by the party.
Popularly known as “change golo” in the political arena, Musa added that he has accepted the decision by the party soberly and said he will soon be announcing of his next move in politics.
Peoples’ Party National Executive Committee (NEC) has now appointed Beatrice Mwale as the party’s Vice President replacing Uladi Musa and Roy Kachali, Joyce Banda’s son as the party’s Vice President responsible for the Eastern Region.
