Zambian celebrated singer Ephraim on Wednesday arrived in the country through Kamuzu International Airport to headline Friday’s praise and worship concert at Bingu International Convention Centre (BICC) in Lilongwe.
Born Ephraim Muntungulure told YFM that he is geared to give his fans a taste of his new album combined with popular old tracks which enjoys massive air play in the local radio stations in the country.
“People should expect nothing but spirit filled performances that will revive their souls,” the “permanent” hit maker said.
According to one of the organizers of the show, Levie Msakambewa,the purpose of the show is to raise money for Calvary Family church 25th celebrations as well bring revival to gospel music lovers during the Easter period.
“We choose Ephraim because he is one of the best gospel artists not just in Zambia but the whole Africa therefore we urge people to come in large numbers,” he explained.
Msakambewa added that apart from Ephraim, the concert which will run from 8-11 PM will feature a star-studded line-up of local gospel artists like the Great Angels choir, Mighty POV and the forgotten Joshua Generations.
People are expected to pay K10, 000 for standard tickets, VIP tickets are selling at K20, 000 while one can access VVIP tickets at K40, 000.
