Zomba district health office has commended people in the district for the good response towards the tuberculosis screening mobile clinic.
Zomba DHO spokesperson, Arnold Mdalira said this as YFM online was seeking progress of the mobile clinic.
He stated that so far they have almost reached out to more than 500 people and those who are diagnosed with the diseases are being referred to Zomba Central Hospital.
The office has therefore hailed traditional leaders and the media for concerted efforts they have shown.
“People got the message from their leaders and the media and this is the major factor of the good turn-up, and this is a plus to us,” he said.
The office has also attributed that so far they have not faced any challenges and they are hopeful that it will continue like that and has also urged people to embrace the project.
