Demand for Soya beans, sweet beans and groundnuts has risen at the AHL Commodities exchange.
This is according to the communications Manager for the group Thom Khanje who told this radio that a lot of customers are interested in the products.
“There has been an overwhelming response from different customers and the market for these legumes is very competitive,” he said.
Khanje also revealed that, during this harvesting period a lot of farmers are sending their produce to the warehouses but those who are not satisfied with the prices are being encouraged to hold on until prices pick up.
