Southern Region Football Association (SRFA) has all the reasons to smile after securing a sponsorship with chitetezo mbaula through United Purpose.
Chairperson for the SRFA Raphael Humba said the one year contract for K11 million for 2018 season, has come at a right time.
“The sponsorship has come in good time and we are going to have a competitive football from the teams because the total amount is definitely going to encourage the teams.”
“As SRFA we will make sure that a team that will be promoted on topflight will remain by giving a full support,” Humba said.
Humba further thanks all the team that took part in making it possible to secure the sponsorship.
On his part, one of the officials from Chitetezo Mbaula Liviness Msafu said they thought it wise to work with SRFA because it is their centre of interest.
“We have chosen to work with SFRA because it is a region where our company is working,” Msafu said.
Msafu added that their aim is to develop football on other part assuring Malawians are using environmental friendly when cooking in their homes.
Southern Region Football Association terminated the contract with Masters Security, though having a numbers of obligations to fulfill from 2017 season.
