All is set for the much awaited Airtel Top 8 semi-final match between cup holders Silver Strikers and Blue Eagles.
The match will take place on Saturday on June 9 at the Civo Stadium in the capital, Lilongwe.
Football Association of Malawi (FAM) through its Commercial and Marketing Director Limbani Matola has revealed to YFM that they are prepared for the encounter.
“We have already hired more security personnel like the Police and stewards to protect the football fans on the day,” Matola said.
Matola has asked referees to officiate the game in a professional manner as tempers are high among the two teams.
He thanked supporters for their discipline ever since the competition started and urged them to come in their large numbers to cheer their teams.
On this day, tickets for open stands will be sold at K 1, 000, covered at K 3, 000 and VIP at K 5, 000.
Another semi-final will be on June 16 between Blantyre giants Nyasa Big Bullets and Beforward Wanderers. The match will be played at the Bingu National Stadium in Lilongwe.
