The Malawi Police Service has disclosed that the 100 vehicles donation from the People’s Republic of China has so far helped to boost security by lessening transportation challenges.
Speaking to YFM, National Police Spokesperson, James Kadadzera said the law enforcers are now able to reach out to remote areas for any emergencies and arrests.
“We are dealing with these issues of road accidents and any other emergencies in the right time,” he added.
Kadadzera further said the Police are able to circulate security messages to distance places across the country and has helped to reduce time in their line of duty.
“Police exercise awareness creation to far places however through these vehicles we are able to deliver security messages appropriately since we have reliable means of transport,” Kadadzera said.
The Republic of China donated 100 vehicles to the Malawi government on December 17, 2017.
