Cobbe Barracks has finished first round of the Chitetezo Mbaula Southern Football Premier League (SFPL) after beating their rivals Changalume Barrack with 4 goals to 1 on Wednesday at Gymkana ground.

It was a beautiful game and all the teams were playing entertaining football. And first half it end 1 all draw.
But in second half Cobbe barracks took advantage of rooted defense for Changalume barracks and managed to score there goals in the second half.
Speaking to YFM after the game, assistant coach for Cobbe Barracks Frank Njilima expressed satisfaction for the win.
“Iam happy that we have corrected the maximum points though we did not play to our expectation and I can see my team playing in TNM super league come 2019,” Njilima said.
He has however promised their fans to keep on supporting the team and they are eager to give them the best results.
His counterpart Prechard Mwanza for Changalume Barracks accepted the defeat and congratulated cobbe for the win.
“We have indeed lost the game but this is not the end of the road. We have seen some problems and we are going back to our camp to polish up and there so that come second round we should be the best team,’’ Mwansa said.
The means that Cobbe barracks are now on second in the standings with 45 points just a point with the leaders Nyasa Big Bullets reserves who has 46 point whereas Changalume barracks are on 10th in the standings with only 34 points.
