Malawi Health Equity Network (MHEN) says the implementation of the Quality Management Policy which was launched by the Ministry of Health recently will require adequate resources.
MEHEN Executive Director George Jobe told YONECO FM Online that the policy will assist the country to monitor if health care services are up to standard among other objectives.
“This is a very good policy which can change quality of health services in our public hospitals but it needs to be properly implemented.”
“I would also like to hail the ministry of health for establishing the quality management department, this will build social accountability,” Jobe added.
He therefore stressed on the need for adequate allocation of monetary as well as human resources.
