Central Region Football Association (CRFA) in conjunction with the sponsors of the region’s league, Chipiku Stores, will on Saturday, January 19 hold a Prize presentation ceremony for the just ended 2018 season.

The ceremony will take place at Mbolembole Motel in Mponela where prizes will be awarded to premier division, division one and division two sides.

The awards will be presented to teams, individual players and the media.

Teams expected to receive the awards from premier division are Mlatho Mponela FC who are the champions and have been promoted into top flight league, Airborne rangers, Kasungu Police, Holy Cross Ambassadors and Lake Valley FC.

Top goal scorer for premier division is Tinkhani Nyirenda of Mtsiriza united with 40 goals.

From Division one, Luanar FC who are the champions, Green Rangers, Mitundu Strikers, Obings Pirates and Chitedze Strikers will be the awardees with Raymond Denis of Luanar FC as the top goal scorer with 62 goals.

Bowe united, Bowe medicals, Kickers FC, Area 49 FC and Make Sure Pirates will represent division two with Kondwani Chilembwe of Nkhotakota radio FC as top goal scorer with 38 goals.

Other Categories to be awarded include player of the season the most disciplined team in all divisions.
