South African based Malawian hip pop upcoming artist IB the King is back in the music fraternity with a new single titled ‘Mphwayi’ which is set to hit the country’s airwaves.
IB real name Ibrahim Chombe told YFM that his new song aims at inspiring Malawian youth not to give up in life.
In the introductory lines of the first verse, IB addresses youth to cherish any form of talent that God gives them saying Downs is not a setback for giving up talents.
He therefore advised Youth to find the way back up anytime they fall.
IB sings “Stay focus on whatever you do, Ups and downs are part of Life but never give up, everything happens according to one’s time, one’s clock one day you will make it.”
In his remarks, IB said he is looking forward to have his music go viral internationally.
“I want to make a name in other international countries, this will make my career as a weapon to inspire more of Malawian upcoming artists.”
“Malawian should expect good, educating, entertaining and inspiring music from me as a head towards my success.”
In the new song the rapper further vents his annoyance as young people in the country continue to face problems on the labour market.
He further thanked his music fans from Malawi and South Africa for supporting his career in different ways.
