Malawi’s award winning hip pop sensation Mazaka Smart Elson Banda known by his moniker Macelba says all is set for him to smash the flours of Blue Elephant as he brings along The Palibe Night scheduled for Saturday, 29 June 2019 in the commercial city of Blantyre.
In his remarks, The Lilongwe based rapper told YFM that as a part of promoting his latest release called ‘Palibe’ he has named the concert after it which was released earlier this year.
“This is just the first show, it has been a while since I last performed at Blues, People from all walks of life should expect fire from my long prepared performance alongside Dj Shats and Dj Malie, I bet they won’t regret the night,” he said.
Since its release, Palibe sparkled different reactions from Malawians especially in a political point of view. The Song addresses various social ills existing in a community where greedy politicians promise and never fulfill anything.
The show will start exactly at 8 o’clock in the evening and its only K1,500 at the door.
The Palibe Night will be his first Show upon his return from a successful United Kingdom-UK tour alongside his friends Saint and Black Nina.
According to the Apse Mtima hit song Maker, The Palibe Night is just a launch of his tour which will smash the country’s corners this year.
Backed by Dj Shats and Dj Malie, Malceba also disclosed that they will be a one surprising artist who will perform at the event.
Macelba is one of the most promising local hip hop artist with a very distinctive flavour that makes every single song he releases since getting into the limelight a hit.
