The Malawi National Netball Team has dropped by three steps on the International Netball Federation World ranking.
According to the latest world rankings released on July 1, by the International Netball Federation (INF), the Queens have dropped from position six to position nine.
The update comes ahead of the Vitality Netball World cup tournament to be staged at M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool, England from 12 to 21 July, which the Queens is also taking part.
According to the INF rankings, Australia has maintained the lead in the first place while Jamaica has overtaken England to claim the second place.
Other changes in the top 10, Uganda has moved one place up and is now in top 6 for the first time.
Barbados has overtaken Wales for 11th place, Zimbabwe has moved to 13th place while Fiji has fallen to 17th place.
Zambia, Samoa, the Cook Island and Grenada have all moved up one place in the top 20 with Srilanka moving two places to 18th.
Malta has been dropped from the ranking as they have played no matches since July 2015.
Switzerland and Tonga have been relegated from the rankings as they have played fewer than 8 matches since July 2015.
The INF World ranking has now 42 teams.
The development means the Queens have now been replaced by Uganda on the second position in African continent.
