Malawian Hip Hop legend Phyzix is set to release his SOLID album on 27th July this year.
The album will launched at the Ghetto Festival, a free show which will be held at Zingwangwa Secondary School ground in Blantyre.
Artists of different genres are expected to dish out music to people who will come to support the launch of Phyzix’s SOLID album.
This is Phyzix’s 7th album to be released after Captain Long John, Follow the leader and The diaries, to mention a few.
The album has 11 songs with different messages including a message of hope for the girl child titled “Never be alone” which features his wife Ruth and daughter Alyssa to whom he dedicated his album .
Gwamba, Barry One,Bucci and Stich Fray, are some of the big names featured on this album.
On the day at least 50 upcoming artists will be accorded an opportunity to display their musical talent and the outstanding artist with the most crowd reaction will win a recording deal with Its Only Entertainment record label.
5 other artists will that have been signed by the label recently will be announced at the event.
The ghetto festival is about recognizing, empowering and rewarding unearthed talent.
