Nyasa Big Bullets Football Club has arrived safely in Zimbabwe ahead of Confederation of African Football (Caf) champions league second leg preliminary match against FC Platinum on Saturday.
The team left the country yesterday by road for Bulawayo with a 17 man squad.
The first leg between the two sides played at Kamuzu stadium in Blantyre, ended in a goalless draw.
Following this result, Bullets need to win Saturday’s game or secure a draw with goals for them to proceed to the second round of the competition.
The team which will proceed to the second round will face either Simba FC of Tanzania or Uniao Desportiva do Songo of Mozambique in the next stage.
Currently, FC Platinum is on the top of Zimbabwe premier soccer league with 35 points from 19 games played.
The team has won 10 games, drawn 5 and lose 4.
On the other hand Bullets is on third position of the country’s top flight league with 29 points from 15 games.
The team has won 8 games, drawn 5 and register 2 losses.
During the last edition of the competition, Bullets were booted out in the preliminary round by Gor Mahia of Kenya.
