The second round of the 2019 TNM Super League gets underway today with Super League of Malawi (SULOM) lining up three matches to be played on the opening day.
The big match which SULOM has set as a launcher, is between the first round winners, Mighty Be Forward Wanderers against the runners up Kamuzu Barracks at Civo stadium.
Nomads finished the first round on top with 33 points while KB finished as runners up with 30 points.
Other fixtures for today, the defending champions, Nyasa Big Bullets are hosting their fellow CAF participants, Masters Security at Kamuzu stadium.
Bullets who are the defending champions, finished the second round on third position with 29 points while Masters Security finished in the relegation zone, on position 14, with 13 points.
In another fixture, TN Stars were supposed to travel to the northern region to take on Karonga United at Karonga stadium but the Stars have failed to honor the fixture due to financial constraints that have rocked the club.
Karonga United finished the first round on eleventh position with 16 points while TN Stars had enjoyed a good form and finished on position six with 27 points.
SULOM has also lined up five games to be played on Sunday while one has been scheduled on Monday.
