Women football giants, Blantyre Zero, have opened a three-point lead at the top of the Southern Region Women’s FAM League.
According to the log table, as at September 10, Blantyre Zero are at a horse-tittle race with their rivals Ntopwa Super Queens.
Blantyre Zero are topping the table with 24 points from eight games while Ntopwa Super Queens are trailing behind with 21 points from a similar number of games.
Evirom FC is on third position with 16 points while YCD is anchoring the eight-team league with four points from eight games.
Blantyre Zero have always been dominating the league title, however, it remains uncertain whether history will repeat itself considering the pressure being applied by their contenders Ntopwa Super Queens.
Meanwhile, three games have been lined up to be played on Saturday and Sunday.
