2019 TNM Super League top goal scorer Khuda Muyaba has clinched a four-year deal with South Africa Premier Soccer League outfit Polokwane City.
Muyaba, commonly known as Ikenna on the local scene, was recently linked with a move to an undisclosed club in Morocco, has secured the deal after coming out the top goal scorer with 21 goals in the local elite league.
Confirming the development with YFM Online, Silver Strikers general secretary, Innocent Kadam’manja, said Muyaba has been sold outright at 20,000 USD (equivalent to K14.8 million at current exchange rate).
“Khuda [Muyaba] has gone at a price our club have been convinced. You know that he was also wanted by a Mozambican club at an offer of 10,000 USD.
“So, we looked for an improved offer and Polokwane City have just done that.
We are excited that the player has now achieved his dream of playing professional football elsewhere,” he said.
The controversial Silver Strikers forward made headlines with his statements on social media, which eventually landed him into disciplinary action by his club, Silver Strikers.
