The Judiciary has said the Constitutional Court judges hearing the high profile presidential elections case will deliver ruling between January 27 and February 3.

The registrar for the High Court and judicial spokeswoman, Agnes Patemba has dismissed social media reports purporting that the Constitutional Court will deliver its verdict on January 27, 2020.

“The judgement will not be ready by 27 January. Judges are still working on it,” she told YFM Online on Wednesday.

Patemba assured Malawians that court will meet its February 3, deadline.

“It will not be delivered after 3rd February because as we said we are working within 45 days,” she said.

However, Patemba said the judiciary will announce the exact date for the ruling.
