One of the Sports Commentators in the country Higger Mkandawire says Football Association of Malawi – FAM and Super League of Malawi – SULOM must be lenient to Super League teams who cannot afford to pay K1 million as Club Licensing fees.

This follows FAM’s decision that clubs that will not manage to pay the fees risk being expelled from the super league.

In an interview with YFM Sports desk, the commentator Higger Mkandawire said a number of super league teams have financial problems because they have no sponsorship so paying the fees would be hard.

Mkandawire added that FAM should come up with viable strategies that can develop the game rather than punishing teams that are already struggling financially.
