Beach Soccer Association of Malawi says they are yet to call for a meeting and discuss the fate of its executive committee.
Confirming the development general secretary for the association, Davie Sado said the move follows phasing out of executive committee members’ serving term.
“We are planning to call for a meeting this week and liaise on how we can go about this issue,” Sado explained.
Recently, some members in the association wrote a letter demanding dissolution of the association’s executive committee members and call for new elections.
According to the association’s constitution, the executive members do not have legal powers to run the association after the expiry of four years unless they are re-elected.
Meanwhile, Sado has assured the beach soccer fanatics that they will know the way forward after the meeting.
