President Peter Mutharika has refused to comment on calls to dissolve his cabinet.
With official results for Tuesday’s presidential elections should that Tonse Alliance candidate Lazarus Chakwera taking, experts have been asking the incumbent president to dissolve his cabinet.
But Mutharika through his spokesperson Mgeme Kalirani has refused to comment on the calls.
Following Tuesday`s fresh presidential poll, different stakeholders have been appealing to President Mutharika to dissolve his 32 member cabinet.
According to law expert Dr. Dingiswayo Madise, it is not wise to maintain the Cabinet this time as Malawians are waiting for official results from MEC.
But reacting to the widespread calls, the Malawi Leader through his spokesperson Mgeme Kalirani has told YONECO FM that the President will not comment on the requests.
Meanwhile, all eyes are in Blantyre for the Electoral Commission to release the much anticipated official results for Tuesday`s election.
