The Minister of Youth and Sports Ulemu Msungama says his Ministry is committed to ensuring that the country has a functional youth policy.

This follows the expiry of the National Youth Policy four years ago, in 2016.

Msungama told YFM that the ministry in coordination with the National Youth Council of Malawi will work on finalizing the new policy currently under review.

He emphasized that it would be hard to move with the youth development agenda without having a functional youth policy in place.
