Minister of Civic Education and National Unity, Timothy Mtambo has urged community radio stations in the country to have multifaceted approach in the fight against COVID-19 pandemic.

Mtambo made the remarks as he officially opened a Capacity training on COVID-19 & Regional Integration in Blantyre.

He further stressed on the need of prioritising COVID-19 pandemic on issues of civic education as one way of fighting against the virus.

The training aims at complimenting government efforts as it will impart participants with general knowledge that will ensure the audience has clearly and effective messages about the pandemic
