The Joyce Banda Foundation has called upon Malawians to do their best in reaching out to vulnerable people in the country amid devastating impact of the deadly COVID-19 pandemic.
Former President Dr. Joyce Banda has said this after making a donation of food packages and masks to vulnerable people in Zomba and Kasungu Districts.
Dr. Banda, who has also been reappointed to the Nutritional International Board of Directors, said her Foundation is committed towards uplifting livelihoods of those in need.
“I will continue Robert to offer myself as a servant of the people,” pledged Dr. Banda.
In an interview, Dr. Banda said she will use her post as an agent of change in society by reaching out to the vulnerable.
“As an agent of change reaching out to the vulnerable, children, the youth, girls and women in particular uplifting their lives to a better level,” said the former President.
