A Lilongwe-based Musician, Chance Guwah Popularly known as Mwanie, has released his first album titled ‘Psalm 150’

In an interview with Malawi News Agency (Mana) in Lilongwe on Saturday, Mwanie said that the album has diverse messages but all of them are coming to a single point, which he said is praising and giving thanks to God for His mighty acts, power and Majesty.

‘’Praise God in his sanctuary, praise him in his mighty heavens, praise him for his acts of power, praise him for his surpassing greatness, praise him with the sounding of the trumpet,’’ he quoted the bible.

Mwanie said that, the title of the album is Psalm 150 which says praise God with songs and instruments and that is what the artist said is doing in the album, playing with the instruments he made

The Artist wanted to do something for God Hence Psalm 150 album.

He said the concept was inspired by Pastor Esau Banda of Pentecost International Christian Centre (PICC) during one of Sunday services he attended.

Mwanie added that he always had a passion for music but he did not have the voice for it but instead he had to do what he is good at and that is playing instruments.

The Album featured heavyweights such, David Kalilani, Sir Creedy, Tamanda Moyo, Beuce Africa, Shammar Vocals, Martse and many others will have an impact on people and a fusion of African sounds and afro pop music will interest the audience.

He said that people should expect exceptional sound and melodies, something he has never done before, like the live guitars and pianos which make the project more appealing and interesting to everyone.

The Muscian added that the most important part of the album is after selling it half of the money would go for charity works as means of giving back to the community.

“We are calling the charity as MusikHand Charity Movement which will involve artists helping the needy in various areas,” he continued.

Mwanie explained that the album was well balanced and mixed as such people would appreciate the production and the creativity in the songs.

The Album produced at Mwanie Music Entertainment is available for sale on digital platforms such as Mikozi network.com and Deezer among others.

The Artist is the producer of Mwanie Music Entertainment and he is planning to launch the album soon when everything is set.

The Album has 12 songs as such, Kwanu, Zonse, Moyo, Mwandilera, Goes on, Nganganga and Mwa ine among others.
