YFM has observed that Primary School Leaving Certificate of Education (PSLCE) examinations have started on a good note in different centers.
From the clusters observed by YFM team in Zomba, examinations started at the specified time with no delays.
All candidates were also seen wearing face masks and observed social distance.
Spokesperson for Malawi National Examinations Board (MANEB) Mayamiko Chiwaya said they have deployed its officers all over to be monitoring the situation in all centers to make sure that everything goes smooth.
“As MANEB we are all over the country monitoring the administration of the examination,” she said.
She further added that they are not doing this alone but together with the ministry of education and officials from the security personnel.
“We have also been joined by team from the ministry of education and the security personnel to make sure that everything goes on well,” Chiwaya said.
MANEB says it has already paid all deployed officers in the centers.
