Veteran football supporter, Raphael Nasimba, has died on Thursday at Zomba Central Hospital.

Late Nasimba is said to have been admitted at the hospital last week.

Reacting to the sad news on his twitter page, Football Association of Malawi (FAM) president- Walter Nyamilandu Manda described Nasimba’s death as a big blow to Malawi football as he was one of the top passionate football fans in the country.

Late Nasimba will be laid to his final home on Friday in Zomba.

Nasimba was driver for former University of Malawi (Unima) chancellor- Zimani Kadzamira.
