Media Institute of Southern Africa (MISA) Malawi and the National Construction Industry Council (NCIC) have established a Media Committee on Construction to enhance the general public’s understanding of the construction sector.

Times Group Business News Editor, William Kumwembe, has been elected Chairperson and YONECO FM Deputy Station Manager, Rose Kamera is the Vice Chairperson for the Committee.

Zodiak Broadcasting Station Sub-Editor, Grace Khombe, is Secretary and MIJ FM Head of Programmes, Innocent Mphongolo, has been elected Treasurer.

Members in the Committee include Malawi Broadcasting Corporation Chief Reporter Aston Gondwe, Timveni Media Head of News Franklin Mtambalika and Salima District Information Officer Grace Kapatuka.

Others include Dzimwe Community Radio Station Manager Justice Sumaili, Capital FM News Editor Wezi Nyirongo Chamanza and Nation Publications Limited Mzuzu Bureau Supervisor Joseph Mwale.
