Center for Human Rights Education Advice and Assistance (CHREAA) says the revelations on unlawful killings, discrimination of persons with albinism and violation of freedom of expression in the 2020/2021 Amnesty International report should be addressed at once.
Executive director for CHREAA Victor Mhango told YONECO FM online that the issue of unlawful killings, all police officers involved in this crime should be arrested thereby sending a message to would be offenders.
Mhango also mentioned that the tendency of arresting people or their dissenting views is unacceptable and this limits them from their freedom of expression.
“Government should not be suppressing the voice of reason just because it wants to have 100% monopoly, if government is failing the civil society can mobilize people,” he said.
The Amnesty International report exposes human rights violations worldwide and calls for change so that all people their human rights.
