International Netball Federation (INF) has announced that Sydney will host 2027 Netball World Cup which is held every four years after Australia secured hosting rights.
According to media reports, the tournament, which will primarily be hosted at Qudos Bank Arena, will coincide with the country host netball’s centenary celebrations.
Confirming the development, INF president Liz Nicholl, CBE said matches will see 16 national teams competing for the World Championship title.
Australia previously hosted Netball World Cup in 1991 and 2015.
Meanwhile, the 2023 Netball World Cup will be held in Cape Town South Africa from July 17 to August 8.
