Malawi is expecting to receive more Covid-19 vaccines this coming Saturday August 28, 2021.

According to an update on what’s in the pipeline on Covid-19 vaccines released on August 26 by the Ministry of Health, 160,800 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine will arrive in the country on the said date.

Another 360,000 doses of AstraZeneca Vaccine will arrive early/mid-September and 372,000 doses of Pfizer vaccine are expected in the country before September ends.

As of August 25, 2021, the country had administered 469,307 first doses of AstraZeneca and 200,727 second doses of the same.
