President Lazarus Chakwera has described his trip to Kenya, Dubai and Scotland as economically beneficial to Malawi.
Chakwera made the comment as he left for Kenya on 19 October where he will sign different deals and will proceed to the other countries for the same mission.
“There is no country that can develop on its own we all depend on each other so we need to strengthen our ties with other country,” he said.
In his remarks Minister of Home Land Security Richard Chimwendo Banda said Malawi will draw lessons on how it can develop its tourism industry among others
“This trip will bear fruits in different sectors, for instance in Dubai the president can tap knowledge on different innovations that the country has,” he said.
Chakwera is expected to return to the country on 6 November.
