First Grade Magistrate Jones Masula of Zomba registry has adjourned to October 25, 2021, a case in which Pastor Penjani Sodzera of Redeemed for Christ Church is suspected to have defiled and impregnated a 15-year-old girl who he adopted from an orphanage.

According to court records, the suspect, took the child when she was only ten years old saying he wanted her to be nursing the twins he had with his wife.

In the process, according to the survivor, Pastor Sodzera started defiling her and threatened to kick her out of the house should she share it with anyone else.

The child, who is now 8 months pregnant, narrated her issue to a woman pastor who is an in-charge of the orphanage she was taken from by Pastor Sodzera.
