First Capital Bank Malawi has appointed Agness Jazza as its Deputy Chief Executive Officer.

She rises to the position as Malawi faces a lack of women in senior management positions.

Jazza is a highly experienced and qualified banker having worked with First Capital Bank for over 23 years, with most of the years in management.

She has grown in the bank serving as head of credit and Head of Corporate among other key positions.

Her immediate past position is General Manager of Corporate Banking.

She holds a Master of Business Administration Degree from Management College of Southern Africa (MANCOSA).

Her appointment is going to inspire young women and girls in Malawi.

At least three women are in management positions at FCB .

Jazza is following the footsteps of Old mutual CEO Edith Jiah & Dr Dorothy Chapeyama Reunion Insurance CEO just to mention a few.
