A plea has gone out to Malawi National Examinations Board (Maneb) to maintain strategies that were applied to students with visual impairment in the previous national examination.
The plea comes as preparations for Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) examination scheduled for next week are underway.
Speaking to YONECO FM Online, executive director for Malawi Union for the Blind (Mub) Ezekiel Kumwenda said he appreciates the board for addressing their concerns in the previous Junior Certificate of Education (JCE) examinations and hopes for the same during the fourth coming MSCE.
“When standard eight learners were writing their examinations students with disabilities met several challenges.
“However we thank Maneb for addressing to the matters in the JC examination which is giving us hope that they will not let us down in the coming MSCE Examination,” said Kumwenda.
