Minibus Owners Association of Malawi says from November 8, 2021 its members will hold a nation-wide stay away in protest against the tollgate fees which government has imposed at Toll Plaza at Chingeni in Ntcheu.
Among others, the association is against the toll fees put in place by the government which ranges from K3, 400 to K5, 100 describing it as exorbitant.
Speaking during a press briefing in Blantyre, MOAM Secretary General, Coaxley Kamange, has asked government to reduce the toll fees to a range of K500 and K600 respectively.
