Police in Lunzu, Blantyre, have arrested a notorious criminal, Chinsinsi Elia (31) for allegedly stealing property worth over K2 million.

Confirming the development to Yoneco online, Lunzu police publicist said the suspect is believed to have been breaking into houses and stole various items.

This comes after people from the area lodged complaints of house breaking and robbery which prompted the detectives to launch a manhunt for the criminals.

The police managed to recover various items in Chiradzuru district on November 13 where they also arrested Elia.
