Women’s Rights activist Emma Kaliya has expressed her satisfaction with the strides being made by law enforcers in the handling gender based violence (GBV) cases.
Kaliya has made the remarks as the country joins the world in the 16 days of activism against gender based violence on women and children.
She said the punishments being handed out to perpetrators of GBV crimes have improved which is key to ending the vice.
This has come as the country joins the rest of the world campaign in the 16 days of activism against gender based violence on women and children.
