Environmentalist Mathews Malata has decried the ineffectiveness of the National Clean-Up Campaign which was launched by government in November 2020.
Malata told YFM in an interview that while the initiative was a brilliant idea, it is sad that months after its launch, there is little to show.
He observed that the initiative lack resources and suggested the need to allocate funds to the initiative in the national budget.
Malata also pleaded with the private sector to come forward to support the initiative.
